RIM: the BlackBerry Developer Alpha 10 is revealed

BlackBerry

To ensure its survival, the manufacturer Research in Motion (RIM) put its future on its forthcoming BlackBerry platform 10 that is to bring new perspectives to its mobile devices and bring them into a new era handing them to level with mobile devices Android and iOS.

Given the collapse in stock market value of the manufacturer, this is the last chance of the initiative, outside the possibility of being acquired by a competitor but to let its independence. To achieve its ends, the manufacturer must also create competition with the community of developers who are already strained by competing platforms.

RIM has decided to propose prior to the launch of BlackBerry 10 smartpone a prototype called BlackBerry Developer Alpha 10 at its next developers conference in early May in Florida.

Participants will leave with this precious device embedding a preliminary version of BlackBerry 10 not finalized and that will not be sold and remains a tool for application developers.

The site offers CrackBerry ahead a few pictures of the future terminal which is in some ways the future of RIM and whose appearance is probably more or less representative of the revival of a positioning device and more anchored to any touch.
