In April last, the firm Intel has unveiled its new line of PCI-Express SSD Series called 910.

It consists of a 400GB capacity with peaks at 1 Gb / s read and a capacity of 800 GB with peaks at 2 GB / s read, with respective prices of 1929 and 3 $ 859.

Very recently, our colleagues website Hot Hardware tested the performance of the largest model, the 800 GB, in order to gain insight into the performance range.

Their test setup was as follows:

Intel Core i7-970 at 3.2 GHz
RAM 6 GB Kingston home
Nvidia GeForce GTX 285
OS Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 64-bit
